Accountabilities:: Build, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships with strategically important agricultural clients. Act as a primary strategic point of contact, developing a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives, and financial needs. Recommend tailored financial solutions that support clients’ growth, investments, and long-term plans. Structure and negotiate complex credit transactions in collaboration with specialized internal teams. Identify new business opportunities and increase share of wallet across existing and prospective clients. Use agricultural market trends and sector knowledge to provide relevant, value-added advice. Collaborate with internal partners to deliver an exceptional client experience and integrated financial solutions. Represent the organization within the business community through industry events, conferences, and market development activities. Contribute to portfolio growth and profitability while maintaining sound credit and risk management practices. Requirements: 2 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, or portfolio management within commercial banking or a similar environment. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, agriculture, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, commercial credit, and risk management. Demonstrated ability to develop lasting business relationships and influence a range of stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a strong customer-focused approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the agriculture and agribusiness sectors. Strong capabilities in relationship management, transaction structuring, portfolio management, credit risk assessment, and business development. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and manage multiple priorities. Fluent French and English communication skills, as the role supports clients and team members within and/or outside Quebec. Benefits: Salary range of $70,000 to $150,000, with compensation varying based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
