Think again!</p> <h4><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></h4> <ul> <li>N6 in Human Resources Management (completed)</li> <li>No prior work experience required — this is an entry-level internship</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Skills Required</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li> <li>Strong data capturing and administration skills</li> <li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>Knowledge of applicable SA labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA)</li> <li>Understanding of confidentiality requirements and POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)</li> <li>Understanding of HR functions: recruitment, training, benefits, labour relations</li> <li>Strong numerical and analytical skills</li> <li>Good organisational and time management skills</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information</li> <li>Understanding of Learning & Development processes (training coordination, skills development planning, tracking of learning interventions)</li> <li>Knowledge of Skills Development Act and Skills Development Levies Act (SDA/SDLA), and basic understanding of SETA/WSP-ATR submission processes</li> <li>Ability to coordinate and schedule training sessions and maintain training records/registers</li> <li>Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or willingness to learn one</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Attributes Required</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Collaborative</li> <li>Creative energy</li> <li>Hands on</li> <li>Have an opinion and voice it</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills</li> <li>Enthusiasm for learning and people development</li> <li>Comfortable presenting to or facilitating small groups</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Filing</li> <li>Scanning documents</li> <li>HR administration </li> <li>Management of the onboarding process</li> <li>Supporting the HR team and business with employee queries</li> <li>HR systems administration (Axio, Intranet, The Hub, Greenhouse)</li> <li>Payroll administration (UI-19, confirmation of employment, IRP5, etc.)</li> <li>HR communication (new starter emails)</li> <li>Assistance with HR/L&D projects</li> <li>Coordinating training logistics (scheduling, venue/resource booking, attendee communication)</li> <li>Maintaining training records, registers, and the L&D training calendar</li> <li>Assisting with tracking of learning interventions and skills development plans</li> <li>Supporting preparation of SETA submissions (WSP/ATR)</li> <li>Assisting with L&D administration on the Learning Management System (LMS)</li> <li>Supporting coordination of onboarding-related training and induction sessions</li> </ul> <p><strong>This is an 18 month contract </strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td><br> <p><strong>High Level: </strong></p> <p>At the Takealot Group, our<strong> </strong>Internship Programme will help you build both technical and soft-skills to launch your career, learning from the best in the business.
