About this role
Accountabilities:: Own the product portfolio for derivatives, with a primary focus on listed futures and prediction markets. Define and execute product strategy by evaluating market opportunities, customer needs, competition, regulatory requirements, ROI, and build-versus-buy decisions across venues, clearing, and execution. Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing FCM launch readiness, regulatory requirements, partner demand, and new futures and prediction-market capabilities. Translate complex business, regulatory, exchange, and clearing requirements into clear product specifications and requirements for engineering teams. Lead customer and partner discussions around derivatives products and operational issues, converting feedback and market insights into product improvements for API and trading-platform users. Engage with relevant regulatory bodies, exchanges, and clearing organizations to support product strategy and regulatory alignment. Provide clear and timely product updates, performance reporting, and results to internal teams, regional partners, and institutional clients. Improve operational efficiency across derivatives workflows, with particular attention to margin, clearing, settlement, trading risk, and related processes. Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and other teams to integrate derivatives capabilities with broader global financial infrastructure. Lead additional product initiatives and strategic projects as business needs evolve. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline, preferably within financial services, fintech, trading, or derivatives. Strong understanding of CFTC and NFA frameworks, FCM market structure, and the listed derivatives ecosystem. Demonstrated experience or strong professional interest in futures, prediction markets, listed derivatives, trading, brokerage, or related financial infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a comparable field. Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, and end-to-end product delivery. Ability to assess trade-offs between customer and business needs, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility, timelines, and budgets. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, business, regulatory, and operational stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing ambiguity and multiple priorities. Technical familiarity with APIs, particularly financial services or trading APIs, is valuable. Experience with futures, prediction markets, or other listed derivatives products is a plus. Experience operating within an FCM, DCM, DCO, exchange, broker-dealer, fintech, or other regulated financial institution is advantageous. Familiarity with portfolio margin, cross-asset margin, institutional execution, Prime Brokerage workflows, or derivatives operations is a plus. NFA Series 3 certification, or the ability to obtain it, is desirable. Knowledge of prediction-market structures, event contracts, and their regulatory considerations is beneficial.
