We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect Construction Supervision professional to join our organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of construction supervision and architectural quality assurance on complex building projects. You will serve as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders, ensuring that all construction activities align with architectural specifications, building codes, and project timelines. Your expertise and decisive leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of construction excellence throughout project execution.Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable building codesConduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify that construction work meets design standards and contractual requirementsManage and lead construction supervision teams, providing clear direction and technical guidance to ensure efficient project executionReview and analyze construction methodologies, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery and minimize delaysPrepare detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and progress documentation for project stakeholders and managementCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts and construction challengesEnsure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sitesManage contract administration responsibilities, including change orders, claims, and warranty documentationCommunicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management and clients on a regular basisImplement corrective actions when deviations from specifications are identified and track resolution to completionMaintain comprehensive project records and documentation for compliance and future reference Minimum 15 years of professional experience in construction supervision and architectural project managementDegree in the Architectural backgroundExtensive knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to UAE projectsStrong project management and scheduling expertiseDemonstrated ability to lead and manage construction supervision teams effectivelyComprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and quality assurance processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standardsPrevious project experience in the Middle East region, particularly in the United Arab EmiratesFamiliarity with UAE-specific building codes and construction regulations At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
