About the RoleAs a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving a global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable delivery pipelines, leveraging infrastructure as code, automation, and modern DevOps practices. This role offers the opportunity to influence platform standards, improve developer experience, and enable efficient, consistent software delivery across cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormationDevelop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patternsSupport the migration of legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with clear documentation and best practicesIntegrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and improve observability using tools such as Open TelemetryBuild and support Python-based tooling, packages, and automation to enhance platform capabilities and developer experienceCollaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standardsProvide operational support for pipelines and platform components, including critical incident support when neededMentor team members and contribute to a collaborative culture of continuous improvementRequirementsHands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormationStrong experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms, with expertise in Jenkins and modernizing pipelinesStrong Python skills, including building reusable tooling and automation and have a good understanding of container and deployment practices such as Docker, ECR, GitOps, and blue/green deploymentsExperience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflowsExperience improving observability using Open Telemetry or similar monitoring practicesStrong troubleshooting skills with experience supporting platform and pipeline issues, including critical incidentsStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with experience working across global teamsPractical experience using AI tools in engineering workflows to improve productivity and delivery outcomesExperience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps, and exposure to Kubernetes including troubleshooting in containerized environmentsWorking PatternWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive.
